Walton Crime Watch: Burglary at Supermarket, Roofing Nails in Driveway, 2-Car Wreck

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: November 12, 2014 – November 13, 2014

Zone 1
Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered while at a residence on Nunnally Trace. Multiple items were taken out of the vehicle.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence on Rivermist Drive in reference to an alarm. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 138 at Forrester Cemetery Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.

Zone 2
Burglary – A burglary occurred at John’s Supermarket on S. Broad St. An unknown subject busted out the front door, reportedly taking cigarettes from the business. The subject was described as a heavy-set black male, wearing a red shirt, denim jacket and jeans.

Zone 3
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence on Windfield Drive in reference to an alarm. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 5
Vehicle Accident – Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Highway 81 at Riverglen Drive. The collision caused complete closure of the road for an extended period of time.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence on Powell Court in reference to an alarm. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence on Double Springs Rd. in reference to an alarm. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 6
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Centerhill Church Rd. at Gum Creek Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Zachary Gresham was arrested in reference to Possession of Meth and Possession of Marijuana less than an ounce.

Harassment – A complainant on Rabbit Farm Rd. reported that roofing nails were being placed in his driveway.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence on Arblay Place in reference to an alarm. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence on Oakwood Place in reference to an alarm. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 7
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Park St. at Guthrie Cemetery Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.
