I don't live in Monroe - but in Decatur. I have an antique booth at Hodge Podge Art, Antiques and Interiors and am up there often. I love the friendliness of Monroe, the charming downtown area, the old houses and the fact that it is a great place to shop for antiques. Almost bought a house in Monroe but I had too many dogs for the small yard! When I am not at Hodge Podge, I love Davis Street Antiques and having lunch at Amicis. To sum it up - Monroe means antiques and friends.
