Anonymous Threat Causes Lockdown at Norcross High

The "soft lockdown" was lifted Wednesday afternoon.

NORCROSS, GA — Students at Norcross High School were placed on lockdown Wednesday after the school received a threatening phone call.

Principal Will Bishop said in a post on the school's website that the "soft lockdown" came after the school received an anonymous phone call "that included a threatening statement."

"As the safety of our students is our main priority we have put our safety plan in action as a precaution and will resume our normal schedule as soon as we are given the all clear," Bishop said in the post.
