Suspect Named in Deadly Norcross Hit And Run
Gwinnett County Police say a lawyer for the suspect has been notified and he's making arrangements to turn himself in.
NORCROSS, GA — Police have identified a suspect they believe hit a pedestrian, dragged him for a quarter-mile then left him for dead in a Norcross street earlier this month.
Cesario Castrejon, 78, of Norcross, is wanted on charges of vehicular homicide, hit and run, failing to exercise due care for pedestrians in the roadway and not using headlights when required.
Police said Thursday that an attorney for Castrejon is aware of the warrants for his arrest and is making arrangement for him to turn himself in.

Video surveillance would show Carrion was dragged from the spot he was hit to the shopping center, where he was dislodged by the vehicle.
The driver immediately fled the scene and never tried to help after discovering a person had been hit, police said at the time.
In the week following the incident, Gwinnett County Police found the vehicle involved — a Ford Explorer.
