Vigil Held For Teens Found Dead in Norcross

Friends and family say Jaquille Thomas and Angelique Bowman were boyfriend and girlfriend.

NORCROSS, GA -- Friends and family say the man and woman found dead of gunshot wounds in a Norcross subdivision were boyfriend and girlfriend.

The bodies of Jaquille Thomas, 18, and Angelique Bowman, 19, were discovered about 200 yards apart Monday in the 6000 block of Wandering Way -- far from where both lived in Stone Mountain.

At a candlelight vigil held for them Tuesday night, family members said both members of the couple were preparing to enter college.

“They were close,” Gean Harden, Thomas’ grandfather, told WSB-TV. “They were like two peas in a pod.”

Thomas’ body was found between two homes on Wandering Way. About 90 minutes later, as police were searching the area, they found the body of Bowman in a car parked in the subdivision’s pool parking lot.
