The Alif Institute will host a brunch, storytime and author visit by Amal Feiji, an award-winning children's book writer. Storyteller BJ Abraham will read some of Feiji's stories and kids have the chance to create their own books. (There will be activities for parents, too.) Brunch tickets can be purchased separately and cost $12 for adult Alif Institute members, $15 for adult nonmembers, $6 for kids 10 and under (members' price), $7 for kids 10 and under (nonmembers' price). To attend the storytime and author visit alone is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.
