Do you long to express your creative self - but aren't sure you even have one? Do you want to experiment with a new art medium but don't know where to start?
Each month, there will be different topics to choose as inspiration for a small creation. All mediums or art forms are welcome, but the size should be small. The idea is to provide a structure that is inspiring, yet not intimidating. Think: the freedom of limits. Your creation can be as small as a 3"x5" drawing or collage, an 8"x10" quilt, a 4-line poem or song, a one-paragraph story, a 10-second dance, or a single photograph—these are just examples, not limits!
Then, whoever decides to take the challenge each month, is invited to come to the Parish Hall on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:30–8 p.m., to share creations and experiences. (Be sure to make a reservation if you plan to eat Wednesday Night Dinner before.) You only commit one month at a time, and you only commit to yourself. The challenge is always open to new people—involve your friends (even if they don't attend St. Bart's).
