We stand with you in response to guilty verdicts for Derek Chauvin. As President Fenves said in his message, the tragic murder of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer moved many to speak out, take action, and inspire change.

We also know that many are hurting.

Several resources are available to the Emory community through Campus Life; Counseling and Psychological Services; the Faculty Staff Assistance Program; the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life.

You also have EPD’s support. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive campus through transparency, increased communication, and a consistent review of our policies.
