Gwinnett Braves Lose on the Road in Rain-Delayed Game
G-Braves return to Coolray Field on Friday.
Charlotte's Dayan Viciedo hit a three-run homer in the first inning Thursday to lead the Knights over the Gwinnett Braves 6-2 in Fort Mill, S.C. The game was delayed for about 90 minutes because of rain.
The loss kept Gwinnett (47-40) one game behind Durham in the International League South.

Pitcher Mike Minor went four innings before the rain hit; he allowed four runs. Outfielder Jose Constanza went 1-for-4 to keep his team-leading batting average at .329.
The G-Braves take on Charlotte on Friday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. Game time is 7:05.
