Gwinnett Dunkin Donuts Fails Health Inspection
Food that should have been in the cooler was left out and sanitizer wasn't strong enough during the restaurant's inspection on Wednesday.

DULUTH, GA β A Dunkin Donuts restaurant in Gwinnett County failed its health inspection this week, with inspectors citing multiple repeat problems.
The restaurant, at 3435 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Duluth, scored a 67/U on the Wednesday inspection.
The inspection was a follow-up to another inspection during which problems were cited at the restaurant. On May 4, inspectors gave the Dunkin Donuts a 74/C.

During the inspection, an employee was seen using a handwashing sink to wash a plastic coffee filter. The restaurant also was found to not have the proper materials to handle a situation in which a customer gets sick in the dining area.
Several sanitizer buckets were found to have a cleaning solution in them that was too weak to be effective and multiple "potentially hazardous" foods that should have been in cold storage were, instead, found on top of a prep cooler where breakfast sandwiches are prepared.

Utensils were being improperly cleaned, pieces of flooring in the restaurant were coming up and weather stripping on a back door was missing β increasing the risk for bugs or rodents to get in.
According to the inspection report, the Dunkin Donuts was temporarily shut down while in-store training was conducted. Inspectors will return for a follow-up inspection in the next several days.
If problems are not fixed, they could suspend the restaurant's business permit for a longer period of time until they're addressed.
