Husband Arrested In Peachtree Corners Woman's Death
The man was arrested in Alabama after the body of his wife was discovered around 2 a.m. Saturday.
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — A Peachtree Corners man has been arrested for murder in the stabbing death of his wife.
Saul Maisonet, 34, was arrested in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, according to Gwinnett County Police. He has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault and was in custody in Alabama as of Sunday morning.
Just before 2 a.m. Saturday, police discovered the body of his wife, Tanya Maisonet, 46, at her apartment at 6800 Springs Lane in Peachtree Corners. She appeared to have been stabbed, police said.

According to police, the 911 call was originally received in Clayton County, but transferred to Gwinnett. On Saturday, they were investigating the identity of the caller.
