Kitten Tests Positive For Rabies In Cherokee County
Twelve people throughout North Georgia are receiving post-exposure rabies treatment after they had contact with domestic animals that have tested positive for the disease. That's according to the North Georgia Health District, which said within the last two weeks, two puppies and a kitten have been confirmed by the Georgia Public Health Laboratory as having rabies.

Pedestrian Critical After Being Struck By DeKalb Officer
A pedestrian is in critical condition early Tuesday after being hit by a DeKalb County police cruiser, Patch has learned. The crash happened just before 7:30 a.m., near the corner of Chamblee Tucker and Brown roads, according to news reports.

3 Injured In Rollover Crash On I-75 In Bartow County
Three people, including two teenagers, were injured in a rollover crash reported Monday afternoon on Interstate 75 in Bartow County. Bartow County Emergency Medical Services, along with other agencies, responded to the crash on the southbound side near mile marker 305, which is south of the Adairsville interchange.
