Police did not offer any possible motives in a news release Wednesday.
But Jamie Arvia, Nicola Sramek's daughter and James Sramek's sister, told the Gwinnett Daily Post that her brother's "fast lane" lifestyle may have been a factor.
She described him as a rapper and bartender who had once been a pimp and was addicted to cocaine, according to the Post.
"People are jealous of him, they hate on him," she told the paper. "He had friends around him who weren’t really friends. They knew he kept money on him. It’s all about the rap game. It’s sex, drugs and money. That’s all they talk about."
