Among the regulations approved to make way for the lockers, none may exceed 10 feet in height or be illuminated, except for lighting intrinsic to the machine.
Only two outside storage devices may be visible from the street and they must be located no more than five feet from a building, unless the city gives express permission.

Amazon Locker is a delivery service offered by the online retail giant.
Customers may give the location of an Amazon Locker as their delivery address, then pick up their parcel from the locker, using a unique pick-up code on the locker's touchscreen.
The service is designed to help customers avoid having packages stolen from their porches, or missing packages because they are not home at the time a delivery driver arrives.
The program was launched in 2011 and currently is available in several cities throughout the United States.
