• Port Wentworth arrest ties 18-year-old to BMW thefts across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and New Jersey (wjcl.com) — Port Wentworth police recently arrested an 18-year-old tied to a BMW stolen out of New Jersey, a case now linked to luxury vehicle thefts across several states. Investigators say the same suspect is wanted in connection with a high-end car taken from Savannah’s Hyatt Regency and similar hotel incidents in Jacksonville and Myrtle Beach. Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers.
