• Arrest reports for August 9 (wrganews.com) — A Rockmart resident has been charged in connection with an August 2 shooting on Woods Road in the Coosa area, where shots were allegedly fired at a man and two vehicles were damaged. The arrest report also lists a separate felony shoplifting case involving two Rome residents accused of taking merchandise from a CVS on Martha Berry Boulevard.
