• GNTC Holds Spring 2026 Adult Education Graduation Ceremony (chattanoogan.com) — Several Rockmart residents, including Trace Agan, Linda Leonard, and Sara Raelyn Riding, were among 51 adults earning High School Equivalency diplomas at Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s spring ceremony. Held in Calhoun, the event celebrated perseverance, honored scholarship recipients, and thanked Polk County organizations that help fund adult education. Graduates were encouraged to view this milestone as the start of new opportunities, not the finish line. 
• 2026 16U National Championship, Daily Roundup: 6/28 (prepbaseballreport.com) — Travel baseball teams from around the country are in our area this week, with several 16U National Championship games played at Rockmart Baseball Field and other nearby parks. The roundup highlights standout pitching, big offensive innings, and a few one‑run thrillers, including tight finishes that literally left Rockmart with a single‑run decision. It’s a good snapshot of high‑level youth talent competing just down the road.
