GNTC awards first scholarships to disabled veterans (coosavalleynews.com) — A Cedartown veteran, Kevin Wilkes, is among 12 Georgia Northwestern Technical College students awarded the first Disabled Veterans Support Scholarships, covering key education costs. Funded through state tax return donations, the program helps veterans with service-connected disabilities afford tuition, supplies, and other expenses while training for high-demand careers across Georgia. Eligible veterans can apply for awards based on disability level.
