18th Annual Butterfly Festival Returns June 3-4
The Chattahoochee Nature Center's event will provide you with various opportunities to learn about these fascinating insects.

ROSWELL, GA -- The Chattahoochee Nature Center is gearing up to host its popular Flying Colors Butterfly Festival next weekend.
The event will return for its 18th year from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 4.
At this event, you can expect to experience live butterfly releases, garden tours and plant sales, live butterfly encounters, crafts with Lakeshore Learning and Face Painting, fairy houses and butterfly sidewalk art, a kids butterfly costume parade, food trucks and, of course, live music.

If you have an eye photography, you can work on those skills with tips of the trade from Georgia Nature Photographers Association representatives in the Butterfly Garden.
Vendors will also take part in the two-day festival, including those representing KIND Snacks, Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Association, Kites in Flight, Sandie’s Label, and more.

There will be a free bus shuttle to more parking at St.Francis School, which is at the corner of Willeo and Azalea roads.
The cost of admission is $12 to the general public and $8 for Chattahoochee Nature Center members. Admission is free for children ages 2 and under.
