2 Arrested In Possession Of Meth, Guns: Sheriff
He pulled them over for some vehicle violations, then searched the car, finding guns and lots of meth.
CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — A Cherokee Sheriff's Office deputy made a sizable drug bust soon after midnight on Thursday, Feb. 1, near a gas station in the area of Northpoint Parkway and Highway 92, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.
The deputy was filling up on gas when he noticed some customers leave the gas station and sit in a car for "an extended amount of time." Later, as they left, the deputy noticed some equipment violations on the car and pulled them over.
Elizabeth Owens, 25, was driving and Brian Gross, 36, and Crystal Mosley, 35, were passengers, all of Crossville, Tenn.

The deputy spoke with each of them separately, and was given permission to search the car. He found a joint on Gross, two handguns in plain view, a bag with "multiple drug paraphernalia items," with some suspected crystal methamphetamine, pills not in their original container and found more crystal meth in a hidden compartment, according to the sheriff's office.
In total, the sheriff's office said they confiscated 8.23 ounces of methamphetamine.

Gross was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of schedule II, possession of marijuana less than 10 ounces and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes.
Mosley was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Both are being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. Gross has no bond and Mosley has a bond of $4,875, according to the sheriff's office.
