2-Year-Old Shot By Father In Roswell Home: Police
A Roswell father faces charges after accidentally shooting his two-year-old, police said.
ROSWELL, GA — Roswell police have arrested a father who they said accidentally shot his 2-year-old child.
The shooting happened Friday afternoon on Millbrook Circle, police said in a news release. Arnijae Stroud, 21, was manipulating a gun with his child in the room when he unintentionally shot the toddler, police said.
Officers and first responders were able to provide lifesaving aid and the child was taken to the hospital and is now stable.

Stroud has been charged with reckless conduct and 2nd degree cruelty to children.
“I am incredibly proud of the work of our entire team of first responders, including 911, Police, Fire, and Medical staff who worked seamlessly to save the life of this young boy,” said Police Chief James Conroy in a statement. “This was a terrible but entirely preventable accident, and serves as a stark reminder of the need for extreme care and responsibility in the handling of firearms.”
