Centennial Graduate To Appear On Jeopardy!

Four years after initial online test, Lindsay Resnick achieves her dream. She will compete as a contestant on Jeopardy! on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Lindsay Resnick, an Archivist at the Breman Museum in Atlanta, will be appearing on Tuesday, January 9 as a contestant on Jeopardy! Lindsay took the initial online Jeopardy test, on January 7, 2014. Six months after taking that test she received an email asking her to come to Savannah, Georgia for an in person try out.

That experience in and of itself was fantastic! But then three and a half years after that, she got the call that she made it as a contestant! She traveled to the Sony Studios in Los Angeles for the actual taping of the show in October 2017.

Lindsay graduated from Centennial High School in Roswell in 2009, then attended Georgia Tech where she graduated in 2013 and then went on to Georgia State University for her Masters in Public History. She has always been an avid learner.

When asked a question, Lindsay is never one to say “I don’t know”. She researches everything until she finds the correct answer. Not knowing is not an option and is the perfect quality for a Jeopardy Contestant.

Once she got the call that she made it, she had only 3 weeks to cram. She watched over 100 archived Jeopardy shows and attended many local trivia events. Her three goals were to answer enough questions correctly to compete in Final Jeopardy, make new friends and have a great time. She definitely achieved her goals!
