3 Mountain Towns To Visit This Fall

Fall beckons families into the mountains. Here's where to have fun this season.

Fall is the perfect time to find your way to the North Georgia Mountains. From picking apples to climbing waterfalls, the mountains beckon with their colorful leaves and cooler temps. Here are three towns you need to have on your Fall Bucket List.

Blairsville - Our family's favorite hike in Blood Mountain, with gorgeous views all around. While you're in the area, visit Mountain Crossings - the only covered section of the Appalachian Trail. Try Vogel State Park, Helton Creek Falls and much more. Here's a list of FREE fun in Blairsville.

Blue Ridge - Blue Ridge is the ideal mountain town for a day trip or a weekend adventure. Don't miss a ride on the Fall Foliage ride along the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad.
