37th Annual Field Day For Residents With Disabilities Returns May 20

The free adaptive therapeutic event is for developmentally and physically challenged individuals ages 16 and older in Roswell.

ROSWELL, GA -- Roswell is putting the final touches on its 37th annual Field Day for individuals with disabilities, which will be held Saturday, May 20 at Grimes Bridge Park.

The free adaptive therapeutic event is for developmentally and physically challenged individuals ages 16 and up, and feature relays and group and individual games. Lunch will be provided, and the day will end with a special awards ceremony for all participants.

This event is co-sponsored by Roswell United Methodist Church and the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department.

The event will run from 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the soccer fields at the park, which is at 830 Grimes Bridge Road. If it rains, the event will be held at the Adult Recreation Center at the same address.
