4 Injured In Head-On Crash In Roswell

Two people were entrapped and had to be extricated from the wreckage early Monday along Holcomb Bridge Road.

ROSWELL, GA — Four people were injured early Monday in a three-vehicle accident on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell. Police and fire crews were dispatched just before 4 a.m. March 5 along Ga. 140 between Barnwell Road and the Chattahoochee River.

Frommer added a preliminary look at the scene shows one of the drivers "crossed the center line," but the Roswell Police Traffic Enforcement Unit's investigation remains active.

Two people were entrapped and had to be extricated from the vehicles, Frommer added. Two of the four victims had serious, but non-life threatening, injuries. All four occupants were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

The highway was closed until 6:15 a.m. in both directions while cleanup and extrication was performed by first responders. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
