When police arrived on the scene, they found four people who were shot in the parking lot at 48 King Street.

The shooting victims told police they were involved in an altercation with the suspect earlier in the night at Moon Hookah Lounge at 890 Atlanta Street, the agency said.

According to police, managers at the facility told Weaver to leave the establishment and "the suspect waited in the parking lot and followed the victims, who were driving a red van," Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said.

The vehicle pulled over into the parking lot and Weaver allegedly began firing his gun at the victims. Seven people were inside the van, but only four were shot.

The victims were transported to North Fulton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Based upon witness statements, a be-on-the-lookout alert was issued for Weaver to surrounding law enforcement agencies, and he was located by Sandy Springs police.

A Sandy Springs police spokesperson told Patch officers were dispatched to QuikTrip at 8200 Dunwoody Place "in reference to a male claiming he was assaulted."

"It was quickly determined that the individual had been involved in a shooting that took place minutes prior in Roswell," the agency added.

Sandy Springs police informed Roswell officers of their encounter with Weaver, and the suspect was taken into custody.

Weaver was booked into the Fulton County Jail where he remains.
