6th Annual Roswell Green Expo Returns Feb. 24 (ICYMI)
This free, family-friendly event will be held at the Bill Johnson Community Activity Building at Roswell Area Park.

ROSWELL, GA — The 6th Annual Roswell Green Expo will expose you to actions you can take to incorporate environmentally responsible practices in your day-to-day live. This family friendly event, organized by the city and Keep Roswell Beautiful, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Residents will also be given an overview of sustainable practices and products that can be used around the home. The event, which is also free, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bill Johnson Community Activity Building at Roswell Area Park.

- The Green Market, showcasing many local and regional vendors, artisans, non-profit organizations and a diverse array of environmentally friendly services and products. A DIY rain barrel workshop presented by Roswell Environmental Education Coordinator Vicki Culbreth. $20 per barrel, one barrel per household. Register at www.roswellgreenexpo.org.
- A DIY succulent planter workshop. $5 for plants and supplies. Register at www.roswellgreenexpo.org.
- Favorite Costumed Characters, including “KiRBy” from Keep Roswell Beautiful, City of Roswell’s Roz the Squirrel, and Sparky the Fire Dog.
- KRB’s Earth Balloon and other kid-friendly activities
- Pottery Demonstrations
- Puppet Show
- Check out a Nissan LEAF from Regal Nissan of Roswell
- Raffle Prizes and Giveaways
- A Green Garage filled with plug-Ins, hybrids, and even electric bicycles from Regal Nissan, United BMW, Carriage Kia, and Roswell Bicycles!
- Historic Roswell Kiwanis will be collecting books and blankets at the Expo! Please bring new or gently used children’s or young adult books for the Little Library at Roswell Area Park, and blankets for the animals at angels Among Us Pet Rescue.
“The Green Expo is a great way for Roswell residents to learn about innovative products that can help them be more environmentally sustainable, and maybe even buy a few ‘green’ products," Culbreth said. "We love that we are able to showcase local vendors and artisans. It’ll be a fun event packed with activities for the entire family."
