7 Fulton Schools Rank In Top 15 For Average SAT Scores
The Fulton County School Systems' score also exceeds state and national averages.

ROSWELL, GA -- The College Board today released results that show the Fulton County School System has more schools with high SAT performance than any other district in Georgia.
Seven Fulton schools also are among the top 15 highest scoring schools in the state.
“As a nationally normed test, the SAT is one of the ways we can compare our progress against other students across the country,” said Superintendent Jeff Rose. “These results demonstrate that we still have significant room for improvement in some schools but also that some schools are performing exceptionally well.”

During the 2015-2016 school year, the board released the re-designed SAT, with students taking the new test for the first time in March. College Board officials caution against comparing results from the previous years since performance data for the class of 2016 only includes administrations through January 2016, the last time the old SAT was given.
