• Roswell council to consider tax increase at Sept. 14 meeting (appenmedia.com) — Roswell officials are set to vote Sept. 14 on a sharp property tax rate increase that could add roughly $500–$600 a year for many homeowners, funding infrastructure, public safety, and bond projects. The council will also weigh funding for a water tower rehab, stormwater pipe repairs near Wexford Mill Court, new HVAC units at Crabapple Center, and Big Creek Greenway connectivity engineering.
• Local Event: Tropical Elegance Latin Night Atlanta - Salsa & Bachata lesson + Party (patch.com) — Latin dance fans in Roswell can head to BigShots Country Bar on Alpharetta Highway for Tropical Elegance Latin Night starting Saturday, Sept. 19, with weekly Salsa and Bachata lessons. The evening includes discounted food and drinks for class participants and a late-night, no-cover Latin dance party, offering a new Saturday option close to home.
