"A street piano transforms an ordinary space into an unexpected musical opportunity," said Roswell Arts Fund chair Rochelle Mucha. "Amateurs and professionals alike cannot resist the temptation to sit down and play a few notes. Street pianos are a catalyst for creating conversation, activating spaces, and bringing out smiles. Roswell Arts Fund is thrilled to sponsor and bring the first street piano to Roswell, and expand our public art collection. We welcome donations of pianos in good playing condition, to add to our Street Piano collection."

Zoey was designed by local artist Amol Saraf to show the beauty of nature and to celebrate life. Saraf notes life is beautiful because of the various people, cultures, and geographical locations that exist around the world.

"Street pianos and public pianos inspire people to connect with each other in ways that were once common but seem increasingly rare," said Jason Brett, co-founder of Play Me Again Pianos. "By adding our pianos to the landscape throughout the metropolitan area, we hope to nurture that connection into an evolution of Atlanta’s culture, community and the arts."

The Roswell Arts Fund is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the designated arts agency for the city.
