Atlanta United Head Coach Honored By Roswell

Gerardo "Tata" Martino was presented with a key to the city at the City Council's Jan. 22 meeting.

ROSWELL, GA — Gerardo “Tata” Martino, the Atlanta United Team Head Coach, was presented with a key to the city by Roswell leaders at the City Council's Jan. 22 meeting.

Mayor Lori Henry, City Council members and Roswell Soccer Club members made this special presentation to Martino in recognition and appreciation of his contribution and inspiration to soccer in the state of Georgia.

A former professional player and coach at the highest levels of both club and international football, Coach Martino has most notably led the Argentina National Team, Paraguay National Team and La Liga’s FC Barcelona before becoming Atlanta United’s head coach.
