The Barter Company Raises $10,000 to Benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
Brookfield County Club Plays Host to Fund-Raising Event, which benefitted the organization's Georgia chapter.

More than $10,000 was raised by The Barter Company’s annual golf tournament that was donated to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation – GA Chapter. A highlight of the day for the golfers was meeting two brain tumor survivors who played along with them at Brookfield Country Club in Roswell, GA.
“The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation provides financial, social and emotional support to hundreds of Georgia families who are facing some of the most difficult moments in their lives,” said Ric Zampatti, CEO of The Barter Company. “We are pleased to support their work.”
Mary Moore, executive director of the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, said “We are so honored to be the recipient of The Barter Company’s generous support. This is the fourth year we have been so fortunate and I can truly say that it makes a wonderful difference for the vulnerable young children with cancer whom we serve.”

PBTF is a national voluntary health nonprofit based in Asheville, N.C. It is the world’s largest nonprofit funder of research into one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer.
The PBTF - GA Chapter was established in July 2014 when the then 30-year-old Brain Tumor Foundation for Children joined with the PBTF. Established in 1983, the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children was the first nonprofit organization in the U.S. to focus on pediatric brain tumor disease. Now, as the GA Chapter of the PBTF, the Atlanta group continues its direct support of families in addition to raising funds for research.
