Beer Festival, Road Race May Affect Roswell Traffic

The 4th Annual Hembree Runs Wild 5K/1K and the Roswell Beer Festival will take place on Saturday.

Motorists in Roswell should take note of two events taking place on Saturday, March 28 that might affect their commute: The 4th Annual Hembree Runs Wild 5K/1K and the Roswell Beer Festival.

The 4th Annual Hembree Runs Wild 5K/1K will begin and end at Hembree Springs Elementary School (815 Hembree Road), and will affect travel on nearby roads at the following times:

  • 7:50 to 9:15 a.m.: Elkins Road will be closed from Bombay Lane to Hembree Road. Northbound lane opens at approximately 8:30 a.m.
  • 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.: Hembree Road’s eastbound lane closed from Houze Road to Elkins Road.

The Roswell Beer Festival, which will be held at historic Roswell Town Square, will require the closing of Park Square from approximately 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, drivers can expect traffic congestion on Mimosa Boulevard.
