Body Wrapped in Sheet Found at Roswell Hotel

The body of a woman was found on the breezeway of a Roswell hotel early Thursday morning.

Witnesses called 911 around 6 a.m. to report a body discovered on the second floor of the breezeway at Atlanta Hotel, which sits on Dogwood Road near the Georgia 400 interchange with Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said.

“Sure enough, we are working a homicide investigation now,” she added.

Holland said the body was wrapped in a white sheet, which was riddled with bloodstains. Holland told Patch the Fulton County medical examiner arrived onto the scene around 10:45 a.m. to determine how the woman died.

At this moment, the woman has not been identified. Holland said officers are canvassing the area to interview potential witnesses or if anyone has reported a woman missing.

“It’s still preliminary, so there isn’t much to say,” she added.
