Creating a Vintage and Vogue look

The current individual style trend - Confidence.

Often I am asked about what is in "style", which trends are "in" or what should a woman of an "appropriate" age wear??  The answer is "wear what flatters your individuality and that confidence is what NEVER goes out of style".

We all feel special in what makes us feel, beautiful, sexy and bold. That "style" is what you create for you - taking something old or vintage such as an lace nightgown from the 1940's - 1960's ( with a slip underneath), pairing it with some current cowboy boots and a denim jacket, can make one feel both sexy, trendy and current yet individualized. There are many types of "blends" using something you have had in your closet for some time and bringing the look to be current by adding an additional element of "NOW".

As I have recently read in Entrepreneur Magazine, one of this year's buzzwords is Vintage, in fact anything prior to the 80's is just that - vintage.  No need to throw something away, give to a thrift store, however INSTEAD, recreate it as at one time you loved it otherwise you wouldn's have held on to it for this long.

We all know what it is that makes us feel our best - that may not be something we can agree with as some feel best in a suit, evening gown or denim jeans  - it really is up to the individual entirely. I personally love the denim and duster look and feel my best when dressed this way - all up to the woman.

So, in summary, the current trend or style is you - wearing what enhances your best attribute - CONFIDENCE.
