Roswell Is a Sweet Place To Be For Francophiles

Are you a Francophile? You're in luck! Our town is packed with French food and activities. This Thursday, the Alliance Française d'Atlanta in Roswell is having an Open House beginning at 6:30pm.

I may or may not have already mentioned that I’m a Francophile. Either way, now you know for sure. It’ll come up periodically here on the blog, so you might as well just know in advance that I’m totally biased towards all things French.

Luckily for me, Roswell, Georgia is a fabulous place to live for French lovers like myself! There are wonderful places to eat buttery, delicious French food for one thing — Douceur de France and Bistro VG are my two favs. As for shopping, we’ve got the picture-perfect market in Roswell Provisions to browse, visit with Cyril, and to buy all of the essential French cheeses and wines. And, when you’re just dying for a hot Nutella crepe, Crepe Cottage serves them up every Saturday, Spring through Fall, at the Alpharetta Farmer’s Market just up the road.

As for Francophile activities, Roswell’s got you covered there too. The Alliance Française d’Atlanta has opened up at location in Roswell on Jones Drive. In fact, the Roswell Alliance Française is having an OPEN HOUSE Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Go and check them out! They’re serving cheese and wine and providing information on all of their up-coming French language classes;click here for additional information.

Finally, if you’re just looking for a little French conversation, the North Fulton French Language Meetup Group normally meets up in Roswell every second Saturday of the month.

Vive la France!
