Breakfast With Santa Serves Hundreds Of Less Fortunate Kids
The Historic Roswell Kiwanis Club and Osteria Mattone hosted the event for the Children's Development Academy.
ROSWELL, GA -- The Historic Roswell Kiwanis club and Osteria Mattone, a popular downtown restaurant, recently partnered with the Children’s Development Academy by providing a Breakfast with Santa event that brought a smile to the faces of the city's less fortunate kids.
More than 200 guests were served a fantastic brunch, including muffins, shrimp cocktail, chicken picatta, grilled vegetables, fruit salad and scrambled eggs. They were also treated to a make your own waffle station and cookie decorating station.
The Kiwanis provided decorations, face painting, a visit from Santa Claus and gift bags for all the children.

“This is the second year partnership between CDA and RO Hospitality," said Maggie DeCan, CEO and executive director of the CDA. "Their offer to serve our families through a special holiday meal and collecting toys for our Santa Shop has been truly a gift to our families and to our organization. The holidays are brighter thanks to the support of both Table and Main and Osteria Mattone employees and their customers."
Ryan Pernice, owner and operator of RO Hospitality (the company that owns Osteria Mattone), added the annual partnership is meaningful because it's a home-grown cause that benefits local families.
