British Swim School Expands To Roswell

From British Swim School: After considerable success and acclaim in Dunwoody, Sandy Springs and East Cobb, British Swim School Atlanta has expanded to Roswell. The international swim school has a reputation for pioneering gentle, non-traditional infant water safety programs for babies as young as 3 months old. To keep up with the regional demand, British Swim School Atlanta is now offering weekend survival and learn-to-swim lessons at the Roswell Adult Aquatic Center’s indoor heated pool.

“I’m thrilled to finally bring this methodology to our community. At the Roswell Adult Aquatic Center children will now learn water safety techniques that may one day save their lives,” said Jeff Chadwick, Owner of British Swim School Atlanta. While parental supervision is always the number one safety measure, research shows that participation in formal swim programs such as British Swim School Atlanta can reduce the risk of drowning by 88 percent among children who are most at risk.

Drowning claims an average of 3,500 lives every year in the United States. British Swim School Atlanta’s mission is to help prevent these tragic deaths with a two-step curriculum that teaches children and adults of all ages water safety and survival skills first, swimming skill development second. Since children progress at different rates, each student, regardless of age, is placed in their correct skill level and will have specific, achievable objectives. The child will be graduated from that level and moved onto the next
without a waiting period, as found in other course-driven programs. This also provides flexibility for parents
to enroll their child at any time.
