Bulky Trash Amnesty Day Returns March 18
Milton and Roswell residents will be able to take advantage of this free service at Roswell's Public Works Division.

ROSWELL, GA -- Roswell and Milton residents have yet another chance to toss out unwanted, large items taking up space inside rooms and basements at their homes.
The cities will host its next Bulky Trash Amnesty Day for its residents on Saturday, March 18.
Between 8 a.m. and noon, citizens can bring items to Roswell's Public Works Division at 1810 Hembree Road.

Proof of residency is required, and utility bills are the preferred method. Roswell residents with the window decal do not need any other form of identification, however.
This event has become very popular, so please expect delays.

Some of the items that will be accepted are:
- tires - must be off the rim, automobile tires only; limit 4 per car
- sofas
- tables
- refrigerators
- chairs
- washers and dryers
- electronics - no televisions or monitors
- deactivated cell phones
The following items will not be accepted:
- paint
- televisions and monitors
- household hazardous waste
- any fluids including motor oil and anti-freeze
- household batteries
- construction and demolition materials
- yard waste
Participants should note materials will only be accepted at the site between 8 a.m. and noon on the day of the collection. The line will be cut off at noon, so be sure to get to the site early.
If you have items that are in good condition, you are encouraged to consider donating those items to nonprofit organizations such as North Fulton Community Charities or Goodwill. Be sure to call and check with your chosen organization before dropping items off.
