Bulky Trash Amnesty Day Scheduled For Nov. 18
Milton and Roswell residents will be able to dispose of various items at no charge at the Roswell Public Works Department.

ROSWELL, GA -- The cities of Milton and Roswell will once again join forces to give you a chance to get rid of unwanted, large items taking up space in your garages, spare rooms and basements. The upcoming Bulky Trash Amnesty Day will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Roswell Public Works Department at 1810 Hembree Road.
The event is open to Milton and Roswell residents only. Proof of residency will be required, and utility bills are the preferred method.
Items you can drop off include:

- mattresses and box springs
- tires (off rim; four per person)
- sofas
- tables and chairs
- refrigerators
- washers and dryers
- deactivated cell phones
- electronics (NOT including TV's and monitors)
- grills
- lawnmowers (with fluids drained)
The following items will NOT be collected:
- paint
- televisions and monitors*
- household hazardous waste
- any fluids
- batteries
- construction materials
- demolition materials
- yard waste
*Televisions and monitors can be recycled at the Roswell Recycling Center at 11570 Maxwell for a fee.

You should note that the event will close promptly at noon, so don't delay in getting to the event, as it's very popular.
