Capital City Xpress - Music of the Swing and Big Band Era

Rhythms on the River Concert Series is a partnership with Atlanta Plays It Forward and the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

Our July Rhythms on the River concert features the “big sound” of Capitol City Xpress! This 16 piece big band plus two wonderful vocalists is metro Atlanta’s best jazz and swing band playing the music of Glenn Miller, Michael Buble, Stevie Wonder and Norah Jones. The setting is intimate and dancing is encouraged!

The concert is “Chastain-style” in the beautiful Ben Brady Pavilion, so bring your own picnic basket and cooler. All adult beverages must be purchased at the event. Reserve a table in the Pavilion or bring your own chair/blanket for lawn seating. Either way, come prepared to have a wonderful night under the stars!

For its July charity, Atlanta Plays It Forward will feature and support Auditory-Verbal Center, Inc.
