The event, set for noon Sunday, May 22, will be for the descendants of those who are resting at the cemetery located at the corner of S.R. 9 and Woodstock Street.

The Historical Society notes the event is reminiscent of a tradition in which families gathered at the cemeteries of their ancestors and spruced up family plots after the winter, perhaps placing decorations or planting flowers.
