Centered Recovery Programs Now Open in Roswell

From Centered Recovery Programs: Centered Recovery Programs is now open and accepting clients for its outpatient drug and alcohol abuse treatment and education program in North Fulton County. Situated on the border of Roswell and Alpharetta close to North Fulton Hospital, it conveniently located for residents of Metro Atlanta . The unique program brings a non-12 step treatment approach featuring mindfulness-based practices, individual and group therapy and other adjunct treatments.
"We wanted to provide something that wasn't previously available to the Atlanta area," says co-founder and Director of Client Services, Reed Smith. "Helping people to reclaim their health from substance abuse is our deepest passion. We are grateful to be able to assist people in understanding and applying mindfulness principles in their daily lives."
There is a significant need for additional quality treatment programs in the Atlanta area, as Georgia has also experienced record numbers of lives lost to drug overdoses in recent years. The opioid epidemic continues to reach new heights and requires additional treatment options for people struggling with substance abuse.

Centered Recovery's newly-renovated location is private, serene and comfortable. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of space to accommodate people attending either full-time day treatment or intensive outpatient treatment, the facility offers an environment for clients to feel welcome and thrive. A ribbon cutting ceremony through the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce will be held on Wednesday, September 13th from noon until 1:00 PM. The event coincides with National Recovery Month, which is an annual observance held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with a mental and/or substance use disorder to live a healthy and rewarding life.
