Christmas 2016: No Shortage of Events in Roswell

ROSWELL, GA -- The city of Roswell will have no shortage of opportunities for you to share the magic of the holiday season with your family and friends.

From cooking classes to help you “wow” your loved ones around the table to family-focused events where you can make holiday memories, there is something to delight and inspire everyone.

Events that are ongoing through Jan. 1 include holiday decorations at Historic House Museums (“Images of Christmas” at Smith Plantation, “Here Comes Santa Claus” at Barrington Hall and “The Life of President Theodore Roosevelt” at Bulloch Hall).

• Dec. 1, 6, 8 & 13: Christmas High Tea at Bulloch Hall, 4 p.m. each day
• Dec. 2–7: “Works in Clay” Holiday Art Sale, Art Center West, various times
• Dec. 3: Breakfast with Santa at Roswell Area Park, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Dec. 3: Twisted Tinsel Holiday Spectacular at Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall, and Smith Plantation, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Dec. 3: Roswell’s Annual Holiday Celebration on the Square, Historic Town Square, 5 p.m.
• Dec. 3 & 4: Santa’s Secret Gift Shop at Roswell Adult Rec Center, Saturday, 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Sunday, 1-4 p.m.
• Dec. 4: Caroling on Canton, Canton Street between Woodstock and Magnolia streets, 5-7 p.m.
• Dec. 6: “Holiday Brunch” Cooking Class at Barrington Hall, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Dec. 8–18: “A Christmas Carol” at Bulloch Hall, various times
• Dec. 10: Candy Cane Hunt at East Roswell Park, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Dec. 10: Christmas for Kids at Bulloch Hall, 10 a.m. to noon
• Dec. 11: Visit with Mr. & Mrs. Claus in Historic Town Square, 3-5 p.m.
• December 16: Pajama Party with Santa (with “Polar Express” movie) at East Roswell Recreation Center, 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Dec. 15-17: “Santa's Missing Mail” Puppet Show at Roswell Cultural Arts Center, various times
• Dec. 17: Double Feature! Roswell Dance Starz presents “Winter Wonderland” & “Santa’s Missing Mail” Puppet Show, Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 10 a.m.
• Dec. 17: Live! In Roswell presents The Beach Boys Christmas at Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 8 p.m.
• Dec. 17: Visit with Mr. & Mrs. Claus in Historic Town Square, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Dec. 17 & 19: Cookies with Mrs. Claus at Barrington Hall, 10 a.m. and noon each day
• Dec. 21–23: “ Trouble in Toyland” Puppet Show at Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 4 p.m. each day
• Dec. 22: Mittie and Thee’s 1853 Wedding at Bulloch Hall, various times throughout evening
