City Prepares To Host Free Health, Wellness Expo

Health and wellness professionals throughout north Fulton County next week will descend onto Roswell for the city’s free Health and Wellness Expo.

All members of the public are invited to attend the expo, which is set for 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 at the Roswell Adult Recreation Center.

Among the highlights of the Expo are:

• Healthy food samples from Sprouts, Costco and Sam’s Club
• Relaxing massage
• Hearing and vision tests
• Posture and spinal cord evaluations performed by physical therapists and chiropractors
• Blood pressure and bone density screenings conducted by North Fulton Hospital (NFH). In addition, NFH will offer cholesterol and glucose screenings for $10.
• Retirement and lifelong planning information
• Diabetes and nutritional counselling and prevention

In addition to exhibitors mentioned above, the Expo will feature Resurgens Orthopedics, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Roswell Nursing Home, Kaiser Permanente, Atria, Huntcliff Summit, Manor on the Square, and the Benton House, along with many others vendors.

This event is sponsored by Roswell’s Recreation, Parks, Historic, and Cultural Affairs Department. The Adult Recreation Center is at 830 Grimes Bridge Road in Roswell.
