Join the tradition and give a gift to nature this holiday season with the annual "Bring One for the Chipper" tree recycling event! As part of a statewide effort to reuse Christmas trees, Keep Roswell Beautiful joins sponsors The Home Depot, Davey Tree Expert Company, Georgia Forestry Commission, 11 Alive, Ferry Morse Seed Company, Burpee Seed Company, and the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation to sponsor this annual holiday event. This has been a tradition in Georgia for 31 years and is the largest tree recycling program in the nation.

Roswell residents are invited to bring their trees to one of the two Home Depot locations in Roswell on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 9 AM to 1 PM. The two locations are 1580 Holcomb Bridge Road, in Holcomb Woods Shopping Center, and 870 Woodstock Road, across from Publix. Trees should have bases, lights, and ornaments removed. Flocked trees will not be accepted. As a thank you, participants will have the option to take home a tree seedling or packet of vegetable seeds for their garden. In addition, mulch from the recycled trees will be available from Davey Tree and can be requested at Keep Roswell Beautiful’s website.
