Clear Out Clutter With Bulky Trash Amnesty Day
On Saturday, Milton and Roswell residents will be able to dispose of various large, unwanted items at no charge.

ROSWELL, GA -- On Saturday, the cities of Roswell and Milton will provide a convenient way for you to get rid of unwanted, large items taking up space around your home.
Bulky Trash Amnesty Day, held in conjunction with Keep Roswell Beautiful, will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 12 at the city of Roswell's Public Works Division at 1810 Hembree Road.
- Please note this event will not held at the Roswell Recycling Center.
Proof of residency is required, and utility bills are the preferred method for verification. Roswell residents with the window decal will not need any other form of identification. This event has become very popular, so please expect delays.

Examples of accepted items include:
- Mattresses and box springs
- Tires - must be off the rim, automobile tires only; limit 4 per car
- Sofas
- Tables
- Refrigerators
- Chairs
- Washers and dryers
- Televisions and other electronics
- Deactivated cell phones
The following items will not be accepted:

- paint
- household hazardous waste
- any fluids including motor oil and anti-freeze
- household batteries
- construction and demolition materials
- yard waste
Materials will only be accepted at the site on the day of the event and only during the hours of 8 a.m. to noon. Please note that the line will be cut off at noon.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be on site to received donated items still in good condition.
