Company Looking To Hire Part-Time Event Specialists

The North Fulton Career Center and Advantage Sales & Marketing will team up next week to recruit part-time event specialists.

The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at the North Fulton Career Center, which is located at 7741 Roswell Road Suite 205 in Sandy Springs.

Recruiters are seeking candidates for positions at the Smyrna location. Event specialists will serve as retail demonstrators promoting products at local retailers. Successful candidates will receive paid training and competitive pay rates.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Have a high school diploma (preferred), or possess equivalent job-related experience;
• Have experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, brand promotion or retail/grocery;
• Interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing manner with management, clients and consumers in any setting;
• Can stand comfortably for up to six hours a day;
• Be able to work independently and as a motivated team player;
• Ability to work a part-time retail schedule, Monday through Sunday;
• Must accept minimal travel, which is required for training or other scheduled events; and
• Have daily access to a computer with Internet and email access.
