Company Tests Carbon Neutral Gasoline at Roswell BP Station
GreenPrint LLC last week launched its Zero Clean Driving Program.

An Atlanta-based company dedicating to reducing carbon footprint among consumers has launched an initiative to allow motorists to utilize carbon neutral gasoline.
GreenPrint unveiled the ZERO Clean Driving Program last week and will begin testing its patent-pending product at four Atlanta area BP stations.
The four participating stations are:

According to the latest data from the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the carbon dioxide produced by the average U.S. citizen produces 17.6 metric tons of CO2 annually, primarily through the burning of fossil fuels. That output is almost three times more than the average consumer in China and 10 times more than they typical Indian citizen, GreenPrint asserts.
The impact of their driving habits is not lost on consumers. In a recent survey of individuals across the U.S representing a diverse cross-section of the population, respondents overwhelmingly indicated their interest in petroleum retailers offering carbon neutral gasoline – and even their willingness to go out of their way to stop stations that offer it.

“The consumers are clearly interested in the concept of carbon neutral gasoline – starting today we will provide them the ability to actually choose it at the pump when they fill their tanks,” GreenPrint CEO Peter Davis said last week. “With no complex changes to the existing pump or gasoline mixture, customers can now neutralize their vehicle’s emissions by planting a tree locally when they purchase ZERO, carbon neutral gasoline. Our patent-pending technology will enable people to drive away from the pump with not only a full tank, but a clear conscience too.”
The participating BP stations are owned by Georgia Oil Holdings.
“We believe that offering carbon neutral gasoline has the potential to be a tremendous win-win for petroleum retailers, like us, and for consumers,” said Mark Murgash, a senior executive with the company. “Just like community recycling programs that have made it easy for tens of millions of people to do the right thing by simply placing their bottles and cans on the curb on trash day, we’re confident that a program that makes it convenient for people who want to offset their carbon footprint when they fill their tank will be quickly embraced by consumers – and has the potential to differentiate us from our competitors.”
GreenPrint enables consumers to drive their cars, heat their homes and live their everyday lives without leaving a carbon footprint. The company’s patent-pending solutions also provide commercial fleet managers and petroleum retailers the ability to build goodwill, enhance brand loyalty and/or increase market share.
