Work to remove and replace the pavement may begin as early as Monday, Dec. 11, but the start and completion of this work is heavily dependent on the weather. To properly install asphalt, the air temperature must be above 40 degrees. With temperatures expected to dip down into the 30's in coming days, the contractor will be closely monitoring the forecast and will proceed accordingly. The repaving may require several days to complete, depending on weather.

The roundabout will remain open, but drivers should expect temporary lane closures and are advised to stay alert and use caution.
