Cops Release Sketch Of Man Accused Of Groping Woman At Park

BREAKING: The suspect is described as a white male in his 60's who is about 6 feet tall and has blue eyes and salt and pepper hair.

ROSWELL, GA — The Roswell Police Department has released the sketch of a man accused of groping a woman earlier this week at a local park.

The woman, who said the incident happened Monday at Roswell Area Park, described the suspect as a white male in his 60s, about 6 feet tall and has blue eyes and salt and pepper hair. Roswell police also note he has a "heavy" Bosnian accident.

Roswell police say the man has a cut or crack on his bottom lip and at the time of the encounter, he was wearing a bright red T-shirt that possibly said "AMERICA," navy blue shorts, striped fanny pack, white high socks and dark tennis shoes.

"She would see him around the park, and they had small conversations," the Police Department previously said. On Monday, however, the man approached her and began asking her personal questions "that made her uncomfortable."

"When she tried to depart, the suspect reached around and physically grabbed and groped her," the department added.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kirk at 770-640-4383. If you see this person in the park, call 911 immediately.
